The Business Visitor Stream (Subclass 600) is for people who have invitations for business visits to Australia that are shortterm. The visa is appropriate for persons who are businessman, company delegates, entrepreneurs and representatives of the government who may come to Australia for an approved business purpose. This visa allows you to engage in significant business-related activities without being granted permanent residency, provided you meet the state’s conditions for permanent residency on a visa.

Activities Not Permitted

Allowing eligible holders to engage in a variety of short-term business activities in Australia, these activities include, but are not limited to:

Enquiries for business or employment:

Taking part in visits or official activities with the government

The Business Visitor Stream does not allow holders to engage in employment or income-generating activities within Australia. Visa holders cannot:

Work for businesses or organisations in Australia
Provide services to local employers
Selling product or service to the end-user end customer.
Engage in paid or long term employment experiences

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet several requirements to qualify for the Business Visitor Stream. Generally, you must:

Show genuine intentions to visit Australia temporarily for approved business purposes
Demonstrate adequate economic means to support living abroad
Meet health requirements if medical examinations are requested
Ensure the character requirements are complied with (including police clearance documentation)
Have no unpaid debts to the Australian Government

Processing Time and Duration
